I've been reading about how important dress is in Buenos Aires, that one should not wear bright colors or baggy clothes or tennis shoes.  How strict is the dress code?  Also, what are your favorite places to visit in B.A.?

Hi Dana,

Well i guess fashion is a bit important here in buenos aires, now we are starting the hot and sunny days here, so its common to wear bright colours, casual clothes, women are very practical, we wear a lot of jeans, and we also wear tennis shoes if its not a very important ocasion..in this case, like in a job enterview or another kind of formal situation in general, we wear black or brown clothes.
I think that we have a lot of influence of Europe, but in my opinion there isnt a dress code.. maybe we tend to be conservatives sometimes, but you can wear whatever you like..
About places to visit in BA, well you have different places.. you have San Telmo, also there is La Boca, and Recoleta, they are different turist places here
