Answer
Sorry... i had problems with my pc.
I hope its not too late for my answer.

1. Where do you learn to tango?
We have Tango Lessons in Tango Clubs or we just learn it from our grand parents.
2. How would you describe tango?
Itīs a sexy dance.. very sugestive. With a lot of sensuality not just for the woman,... also the man. And the music is very powerfull.. you can feel it in the bounds.

3. Would you say that it is a passionate dance?
YES. Very very.

4. Is tango popular in Argentina?
Good question... ehhhh.. besides you can imagine itīs not so popular between young people like it seems outside the country. The Tango is a strong symbol of our country but at this time is more that and nothing else. If you come here like a turist you are going to "breath" Tango but you are not going to see regular argentinians dancing tango or even hearing tango at the streets... perhaps only the oldest people.

5. How long has it been around?

To answer this one iīve to ask my grand mom... and she said more or less near 1925 and it wasnīt well see because it was  very "ordinary" music at that time. The aristocrats of that time hates that kind of music and itīs lyrics.

6. Where do you think it came from?
I really donīt know exactly but it cames from the low citizens class.. the worker class.

7 . What are some of the names of famous dancers and singers?

We have more popular singers than dancers
Singers: The most important singer was "Carlos Gardel"
Julio Sosa -Edmundo Rivero - Roberto Goyeneche - Nelly Omar, etc
Musicians: Osvaldo Pugliese - Anibal Troilo - Francisco Canaro - Astor Piazzolla... etc

8. Are there any popular dance clubs for tango in Argentina
(mainly Buenos Aires)?

Here in BA we have lots of Tango night shows and clubs. The night shows are really espectacular. Grate dancers on stage.

9. Do older people dance or is it just a younger teens and mid 20s?
Just the contrary. Older people dance much more than young people. And teens and mid 20s are not interested in tango.
