Question
Hello Cintia,

I will be traveling to Argentina May 30th to June 7th this year.  There will be 4 travelers in our group.  We are hoping to fly to Iguazu for either a 2 or 3 day trip.  I have looked at Southern Winds and Aerolineas Argentinas.  Both of these airlines have increased their airfare to over $300.  Do you have any suggestions about finding cheaper airfare?

Answer
Dear Michael,

Thank you for your question.

Regarding your interest in going to Iguazu, I would like to tell you that the cost of the round trip ticket from Buenos Aires to Iguazu has not changed, it is approx. $600 pesos per person, i.e. around USD 200.00 on economy class. Southern Winds allows non residents to fly under any of its fares, so it may be possible to find a lower price. I recommend you contact the airline directly to make arrangements.
Kind regards,

Cintia

I was born in Argentina and have lived ever since so I can answer all kinds of questions about my country. I have also visited other countries and that has given me a wider perspective which enables me help foreigners in a better way. I have travelled along Argentina, from the north to the south and have been to almost its 22 provinces. I have also worked for a travel agency in the inbound tourism department. I enjoy being a hostess very much and feel willing to assist foreigners in the best possible way.

Experience

Have travelled a lot along the country. I´ve been in charge of the inbound tourism department at a travel agency. I worked in Japan as a volunteer for a culture exchange organization, giving lectures about Argentina.
