Argentina - Where to travel in the country for the warmest weather???

Expert: Leandro Garcia - 7/27/2007

Question
Our family is traveling to Argentina this year for Christmas. Since there are 15 of
us we were thinking about renting a house for the week so no need for a hotel.
Where is the best place if we want the warmest weather in December? I have
been told that the weather varies throughout the country and we need to make
sure to travel to the correct location.  Thanks for the help its greatly
appreciated!

Answer
Like other South American countries below the equator, Argentina's winter lasts from July to October, while the summer goes from December to March. The summers are hot and humid and the days are longer, making the Patagonia and southern Andes ideal vacation spots.

The sea regulates the temperature in the majority of the country's costal cities so there is not much difference between the minimum and maximum temperatures. This is the case in Buenos Aires.

Warmest and better cities in Argentina

Misiones- Iguazu Falls. (nature)
Patagonia Argentina (nature)
Buenos Aires- Capital (city & nature)
Cordoba (nature & city)
Mendoza (nature and city)
