Question
Hi my friends r coming into Mesa from Chicago and we want to go to the Grand Canyon for one nite Oct. 13, 14 or 15th. Everything is booked up so far.  I would like to take them to Antelope Canyon, maybe Sedona and the Grand Canyon.  HELP, I don't have a clue if they are on the way to one another, how far and can I stay in an area that I would be able to go to the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon or Sedona, I'm just lost!  Thank you for your help. :-)  Renee

Answer
Hi Renee,

The hardest is going to be Antelope Canyon.  The Grand Canyon is only about an hour and a half from Sedona.  You could either stay there ( in Sedona), or in Flagstaff which in addition to being reasonable is 45 minutes from Sedona and about an hour from the Canyon.  Antelope Canyon is about 3 hours north from there. The nearest place to stay would be in Page ( which is right by Lake Powell).   www.visitsedona.com is the Sedona Chamber of Commerce website and they should have listings.  FYI one of the really cool places to stay is Skyranch Lodge which is on top of the Airport mesa with great views and again is reasonably priced and nice.

Our busy season is in October so being able to book at the canyon on short notice is unlikely now.

Hope this helps.
