Question
We are planning to do hiking in Sedona on monday, what is the condition of Dry Creek Rd to vultee Arch ?

Answer
HI,

Dry Creek road is paved and fine - but I think you are talking about the forest road that leads out to the trailhead.  I wouldn't take a standard rental car down there, if you have a four week drive vehicle with a higher clearance it should be ok. The road is "Rugged".

Hope your trip is great - if that trailhead doesn't work for you because of the quality of the forest road I would suggest Doe Mountain as an alternative.  Also out Dry Creek Road but you go down to Boyton Pass road which is paved. you end up on top of a mesa and the views are wonderful.

Thanks,

Mindy
