Hey Steve,

I am writing to ask whether or not LeVar Woods, the rookie free agent from Iowa, is still a part of the Cardinals in training camp.  I don't see his name on any of the rosters on the internet, and I am wondering if he quit or if he was cut.  Anything you could tell me would be great.

Hey Josh,

Yes LaVar Woods is on the Cards camp roster.  He's been practicing every day and played in the intra-squad scrimmage.  The problem he faces is the fact he's on a team that is pretty much loaded with Outside Linebackers.  If he makes the team it will likely only be as a practice squad guy.  But remember there are a few NFL players who started out as practice squad guys.
