About Judy Frayne
Expertise
I specialise in the mixing of oils. Every problem has a different solution depending on the underlying causes.A simple headache could be caused for a number of different reasons. Tracking down the origins of a problem is the first step. I can then advise on the correct oils to use,how to buy them and the methods with which they can be applied. I can also recommend other complimentary techniques for self help with many physical and emotional problems. Feel free to ask about: Skin disorders - eczema, psoriasis, atheletes foot Muscular aches and pains - arthritis, neck and shoulder tension. Painkilling - headaches, chronic pain, backache. Digestive disorders - IBS, constipation. Stress - depression, anxiety, grief, anger, concentration. Medicine cupboard - bites, stings, cuts, bruises, burns. Babies and childrens - tummy aches, colds, sleep problems. And many more !

Experience
I have been a qualified aromatherapist for twelve years, working in my own premises as well as mobile visiting. My clients have been varied - ranging from babies to the elderly and sadly, the terminally ill. Whilst many clients simply wish to use aromatherapy to promote a feeling of well being and keep themselves relaxed and healthy - I have had much experience of clients with specific needs. These are just as wide ranging - from skin disorders to back problems on the physical side - to the emotional and spiritual side of things and problems such as coping with grief and bereavement or helping combat anger and stress. I use a mixture of techniques including reflexology. I believe that aromatherapy is a very simple and natural method of self help that can compliment conventional techniques. I am passionate about passing on safe and sensible advice so that more people feel confident to try aromatherapy for themselves. Aromatherapy is not always a cure - but it's potency should never be underestimated. It can help, it can be life changing - and it's certainly worth trying

Question
my father is suffering fron ezema, n piles he is also allergic to dust n dirt .

Answer
Hello Ashi , thanks for your question.
First of all - eczema. I can honestly say that aromatherapy is ideal for this skin complaint. I have treated it with great success, many times.
The best essential oils to use are Birch tar, Chamomile,Lavender,Benzoin, Ylang ylang, and Patchouli - other good oils are Frankincense, and Jasmine.
Probably the best way to use these oils for eczema would be to put them into a natural cream base - maybe a vitamin e cream . This can then be applied as and when required.

If you want to try mixing for yourself I would use a 30 - 50 ml pot of cream and add from 10 - 20 drops of a combination of oils.
Start with just a few drops in the whole pot - I have had one case where the skin was so tender that even a mild mixture was painful. You can always add more at a later point.
If you are going to just choose a few oils, then make sure you have Birch tar, Benzoin, Roman Chamomile and Lavender - these are fairly inexpensive oils and are the most beneficial.

Re piles - I have to say I would not apply essential oils as a rule. Possibly again, a cream base with a few drops of Roman Chamomile might help. But I wouldn't use anything stronger on such delicate skin. I believe herbal remedies are recommended for piles, but you would have to consult a herbalist for this.

Re Dust allergies - if there are problems with breathing then frankincense is a lovely oil to put onto the skin around the neck and chest area. Dilute two drops into either a cream base or a vegetable oil base.(this would also help with the eczema).
If the problem lies with nasal congestion you could put two or three drops of lavender, rosemary and even peppermint into hot water over a burner which will help clear the breathing when inhaled in the room.

In my experience I would expect that your father may be suffering from long term stress of some kind. The allergies and the eczema are probably related. The oils I list above for eczema are oils that also help with stress. It would be possible , with a few more details, to prepare a much more personal formula to suit your father. Feel free to contact me again if you would like this.
Good luck
Judy
