Further to the question put by Ervin in his enquiry regarding a painting by F. Massa.

I have also aquired a water colour by the same artist, a cottage, tree, and cart in a country scene setting, purchased at a car boot sale near Matlock in Darbyshire this June... for the princely sum of 0,75 pence.

I await the "discovery" of this artist with eager anticipation when I imagine the value will be bound to realise me a profit, no matter how small. Regards Terry Smith, Bulgaria.

My F. Massa picture looks like F. Nassa to me, but on the back of this watercolor is " Cape Craftsman" N.C.

I purchased a watercolor  but the signed name appears to be F Nassa (N) not F Massa (M). Perhaps we are looking for the wrong spelling? I would like to know more about it.  Three tall baren trees, lake with swan and large home in the background reflecting off the lake. It is lovely.

Thanks
