QUESTION: Hi,
I forgot the name of a painter. His origin is some country in the east Europe, I
think.
I know he has a art foundation created by a friend/collector in the USA and in
some
castle in Germany, I think.
Do you know any painter like this?

ANSWER: Hi Oca - sorry, I can't help you based on this information.  You'll have to be a little more specific - a time frame would help; the location of the American foundation; the type of art (figurative, abstract) and medium (oil, tempera) and subject (portraiture, landscape) could add enough to pare down the search field.

Come back to me when you have found some of these things out.  Otherwise -- the range is too huge and the task impossible.  I'm sorry.

QUESTION: Thanks Jeni,

Ok, let's see, he has at least one son, should be now round 50 something
years old.
The artist painted abstract, with multiple technics, some pieces of huge
dimensions (murals). Can not be many with foundations in Germany.. but I
can't find him.

Oca - hi:  A 50year old European abstract painter with a son isn't much to go on.  I think you are overestimating my abilities (I don't have a crystal ball) - I suggest there are hundreds of art foundations in Germany.  You'll have to ttry and track him down another way.  Start by trying to find paintings by him listed on the web ... look in Google images, first .. that may trace him/you to a gallery, dealer or exhibition which might have more information.  It's all a bit vague and I have nowhere to begin the search for you.  So sorry.
