Question
Hi, I have just read the novel Angels and Demons by Dan Brown and Bernini figures prominently in it.  I was wondering how accurate his descriptions of Bernini's works and Illuminati history were?  If you have not read it, I'm sure you have a friend who has!

Thanks!

Answer
Dan Brown has done a wonderfull job at making people more interested in art History. As far As I have read (I'm not done the book yet) the work's described in the novel are real and are very beautifull but the ties with the illuminati are not something I am aware of. In fact this novel is the most I know about the Illuminati. From reading the Da Vinci's code I can guess that he made the ties to make the story. The ties he made for Da Vinci's code were on average 1/3 false. But this is my point of view...
