Art History/Oil painting question

Question
I recently inherited a painting and am trying to get some info.  It is signed by "Miro".  On the back is a certificate that reads:

This is an Original Oil-painting by the artist Miro.

Born at Lyon, France as the son of an old painter-family, in 1924.  He attended the elementary schools at his home town, his studies he made in Paris, where he soon found admission to the circle of well known Parisian artists.

After a short period impressionistic painting he turned to theoretical and stylistical free motives.

Well I doubt this is Joan Miro, so do you have any other info or know where I might find out more?

Thanks,

Answer
Greetings Brian,

Thank you for your question.

Joan Miro was a Spaniard, born in Barcelona in 1893.

I wish I could shed some light on the identity of the artist who produced the painting you possess.  Sadly, I could find no record of a French painter with the name Miro.

Is there anything further on the certificate - like a dealer name, a date, a copyright?

Best wishes, sincerely,
J Heuman
