Question
I am trying to locate information regarding an original first edition lithograph in color, entitled "Femme et jeune garcon nus", from 1970.  There is a child on his belly and women to his left.  Both appear to be sleeping/resting.  I can not find any information referencing the lithograph.  Do you have any advise on how or where I can locate additional information connecting the 2?  Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to lend.
Kind Regards,
Kelly

Answer
Hi Kelly - and thanks for your question, although I cannot help you.  I think you need a fine art dealer, not an art historian if you are wanting information about first edition lithographs!  While I can offer you insights into Picasso,  his working methods, and how he furthers the cause of modern art, but I am not sure my talents stretch beyond that.  The title of the image - Woman and Young Boy, naked - seems to suggest similar images Picasso made over the years - the woman often replaced with his current wife/mistress.  (I am sure there are plenty of lithographs made with or without the artist's permission!)  I am not sure what answer you were hoping for from me - all I can suggest if that you access the official Picasso website, or search through the numerous art print sites, to try and find out more about 'your' litho.  Good luck.
