Art History/Symbols

Question
Hello!
I've got a question:
Is there a site on the Net that has articles about hidden symbols in painting, hidden meanings, and such things (like the things said in The Da Vinci Code)?
Thanks.

Answer
Greetings Hex22:

I haven't read, nor do I plan to read, The Da Vinci Code.

I don't know of any online resources.  Likely, nobody thought to put together such a web site before The Da Vinci Code.  (After all, conspiracies are cyclical . . . swiftly appearing and disappearing.)

If you are willing to seek out a book, I suggest:

Carr-Gomm, Sarah.  Hidden Symbols in Art : The
Illustrated Decoder of Symbols and Figures in Western
    Painting (Rizzoli, 2001).

Best wishes, sincerely,
