Question
I have 2 paintings of Willam Paval's and I was thinking of selling them. I just wanted to see if they were worth a substantal amount of money before i get rid of them. I also have 2 copies of his book one is autographed by him and one isn't. In one of the books I found a pamphet form 1942 that says one of the paintings I beleive that i have was worth almost $400 at that time. i also have a scupture of his too. the picture I have is either The resting clown or The thinking clown.
Thank you for you time

Answer
With all the documentation you have on them, you should be able to get a good price for them.  Look on eBay and see if anyone else is selling any.

Contact Southeby's on line and ask if they have a market for his work.

Be warned that galleries often take 75% commission on sales, which is what makes art so expensive.
