Question
I recently ran across Wladyslaw Brzosko, who also calls himself Arthur Spence, here in NYC.  He invited me into his apartment only to discover what an incredible artist he is, or, has been.  He says he is 101 years old, from Poland, and has painted in Paris with his friends Matisse, Picasso, and Braque.  He showed us some of his portolios.  Incredible work, a combination of impressionism, pointalism, and cubism, as far as I can tell.  He says he has a painting of Copernicus in the Smithsonian.  Why haven't I heard of him before?  Who is this man?

Answer
I don't know why you have never heard of him.

Have you ever heard of Robert J. McMahon?  He has a three color engraving in the Library of Congress.

Have you ever heard of Alison McMahon?  She has a mural in Long Beach and an album cover for Warner Brothers and has exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, and Taipei.

Many well-known artists are also people who are good salespeople.  There are many incredible artists everywhere who are better artists than they are salespeople.  To become well-known, an artist needs to be a bit of a showman or to come from a well-placed family with built-in patrons.

The two artists above are my father and I.  Do a google search.
