Could you recommend art history books (19th and 20th century)? (Books on the key developments and reforms in art and design in the 19th and 20th century, The contribution and influences made by art forms of other cultures towards creative developments) Also books generally on artists? (Famous artists and books which have summarised facts about them and their styles and characteristics. Books on the different art movements.)
Any web links relating to the above?
If I needed more help, are these subjects something you know about?

Hi Sam, Honestly there are thousands of good books out there. I would go to your local library and spend a few hours looking over them. To sugest a few beginner level Helen Gardner, Yale Dictionary of Art and Artists, Artspoke and also Artspeek, Art Bulletin Time has put out an edition of books on thousands of famous artists and are very good, G. Vasari, Thare are soo many more.. Just look
