Question
I am trying to identigy a painting, but I don't know how to attach a photo to send to you. Please help. Thank you so much.

Answer
Hello Elizabeth - I'm afraid I can't tell you how to send me a picture - I don't know what equipment you have or what this system supports.  But .. perhaps a few preliminary questions might help you in identifying the picture:  first - subject (what's it about); second - materials (oils, watercolour, or a print?); third - how was it painted (can you see the brush-strokes, or is it 'smooth'?), is it signed, dated?  Where did you acquire it?  (Through a dealer, gallery or by inheritance - and if the latter, perhaps your family can help.  If you could try to describe it in more detail, I'd (perhaps) be in a better position to be able to help you.  Sorry I don't know how to attach a photo - perhaps the folks at AllExperts can answer that question.  Cheers, Jeni
