i have a landscape oil painting signed k.laurence.could you please tell me who they are and a bit about them.

Hello John - and thank you for your question.  Regrettably, I cannot answer it!  I've never heard of an artist by the name of 'K. Laurence', and even a cursory search of my usual art historical resources reveals nothing.  It would help your search to know where you acquired the painting and, if from a gallery, whether the vendor can offer you any information.  S/he (Laurence) doesn't rank among the 'greats' of art's histories but that's not to say that this artist may not become 'great' as the years pass.
