Question
i have a print by l. g. ferris entitled music hath charms. it is dated 1893 and was issued by the woolson spice co.
i can't seem to find out any info on it.
is it of value.
can you shed some light

thank you

Answer
It could be a mass-produced aquatint or lithograph, at that date.  It would have been used for advertising, like a calendar give-away to customers.

As to value, it might be of value to interior decorators as a piece to build around.

It's not worth nothing -- it's worth something.  Try it on eBay -- look around for similar things and see what they sell for.  look under "prints" and "advertising" and "ephemera"  -- you'll find new avenues as you go.
