Question
How accurate can speech recognition get my self taped messages?  How much time does it actually take to train the software to understand my speech?  And, after all that, how accurate is it?  What software do you recommend and what taping device do you recommend?

I recomend Dragon Naturally Speaking from Nuance.  (version 10?) They claim a 95% acruacy and little to no training.  More like 90% and lots of training.  It will transcribe from taped messages.  You should talk to a Dragon sales person and get thier recomendation on what devices to use, etc.  they are pushing Bluetooth wireless headsets - which are pretty cool.  Prepare to do a lot of work!
