hello there
i wanted to know the changes in software and hardware.
i know that hardware is stuff we can see, like computer screen. and its developed because you can get smaller computers and laptops now.. but could you elaborate and give me a few more examples?..

and explain the change from many years ago in software too ?

I don't really understand the question.  Hardware and software have been changing dramatically for 50 years - you want a historty of those changes?  That would be a really big answer.  short story:  Eniac 1945, use of vacume tubes, no software, programmed by moving wires.  Core memory, invinted in lates 50's Wang, allowed memory to be stored electroniclly.  Cobal - first major programming language '60s.  Microprocessor - invented by Intel 70s' - C software language - invented at Bell Labs - 80's microcomputers.  Microsoft - 90's Windows, .NET programming system.  WoW! that's pretty quick review there.
