my r
hi. i have made a robot having six legs and it works on lm345 IC. It has two geared motors and consist of Photo transistor and infra red diode which allows the robot to detect obstacle and then it moves right..my question is that how can i connect it with my computer..i want it to be run as i connect it to my PC..it may move left right back and forward direction plz tell me how to do it plz help me...thankx a lot

I am not a hardware or robotics expert.  Maybe you can connect to it using Bluetooth. I suggest you look at the Lego Mindstorm robots.  They have a computer built into them and you can use the 'Lego' universe to modify them endlessly.  They have 5 types of sensors and they also have a great programming system that runs on the PC then the compiled programs download to the robot.  There are also Mindstorm competitions and all sorts of stuff.  So the basic building block of the Mindstorm robot is a computer - a 'brick' computer that you connect stuff to it to build your actual robot.  check it out.
