Sir,

Tell me the possibility of utilizing Artificial Intelligence in Missile Technology that can develop a missile with a brain. I am more concerned with the Air to Air missile that can attack the target without the human guidance.

Hi Hafeez,

i'm not an expert on missile technology so i can't really help you on that. However missile tracking is based on heat and radar patterns (to say the least). AI could be used to build a "smart" missiles, depending on your definition of smart of course. It wouldn't surprise me if AI techniques have already been utilized on missile tech. Actually i would bet my money on it. There are many things an AA missile could benefit from AI, like tracking, flying stability and behavior, shape, fuel consumption etc. But as i already said, i am not knowledgeable on the subject. If you want to learn more on missile tech, i'd suggest searching for related papers online.

I can answer most of the questions about the workings of a Fuzzy Logic machine, from the basics up to a certain advanced point.Questions regarding applications of Fuzzy systems intregrating with other technologies such as Neural Nets or Genetic Algorithms are propably out of my reach although,with some research,i could try to answer them(i have working knowledge of Neural Nets an Genetic Algorithms but i`m far from being consider an expert to these areas).
