  Hi Saurabh,
     Iam a student from India, I have AI as a subject this sem. Iam a beginner so i want help, can u tell me where can i get help on the net. Also I would like to know the sites where i can get across some research papers and  developments.

Dear Sam,
For start up and as per the requirement of Indian syllabus,I would recommend you just one book - AI by Rich K. Knight which is sufficient to provide you with everything you need to know about AI modelling and problem solving approach.

I would also strongly recommend you 'Information Technology' Magazine which is a publication of EFY enterprise pvt. Ltd. The magazine is currently publishing a series of Articles covering different aspects of AI and VR on monthly basis. Have a Look.

For more information you can google the net for the kind of information you are seeking. Net has a vast resources on AI and you will find them certainly helpful.
