Artificial Intelligence/future of silicon

Question
I have heard that in about 20 years Silicon Valley will run dry, and computer power will shift or end unless a new material is found for computer chips. Is that true? If so, what material do you think will be used for computers of the future?

Answer
Yes, the ability to make silicon based chips ever faster and smaller has certain phsical limits.  Galium Arsinide is a strong contender.  There are also biological technologies based on DNA or protines.  The most interesting idea is Quantum Computing.  This is based on using the wierdness of quantum machanics to build a computer.  There are many other idea's being looked into.  Hope this helps.  (sorry for the delay, I just got back from vacation)
