Question
Greetings

Hope you can help me on this question .

I am not sure just exactly what they are tring to do..

Question
Using type " Hierarchy notation ",
if s and t are types and t = s then :

is:
1: t is a supertype of s
2: s is a supertype of t

3: t is a subtype of s
4: s is a subtype of t
or
5: 1 and 4
6: 2 and 3

The way I see it if they are equal then on a graph t = s.
*****would put them as choice number 5 , for they would just be t is to s .....
Can you help me with this , the book is really not that clear...

thank you

Answer
Hi Jerry,

I am not clear about the answer. The information given is not very clear.

If you go for a general observation, it could be anything. For  1 , t can be a supertype of S and still can be t=s as for each value of s, t can have equal value, but is reverse also true? The same explaination can go with the rest of the options as well. So, t can be both supertype of subtype and other way around the same explaination goes for s.

It would be nice if you could provide more information.
