Artists` Exchange/Preservation

Question
Hi, I want to do a picture using tea, is there a way of preserving it?

Answer
It's always best to be as specific as possible with questions. I'm not sure what kind of preservation you are looking for. Tannins are relatively lightfast, but if you're concerned, use UV protecting glass in the frame. In terms of interaction with the cellulose of your paper, this too should not be a huge problem. But if you are toning a cyanotype, you should consider using something else. If I haven't guessed correctly about what kind of preservation you mean, please resubmit your question.
