Question
i've been hired to do my first indoor mural what kind of paint should i use and how should i set the price

Answer
Use good quality (i.e. artist quality; the reason for using good quality paints is 1-better results and 2-lightfastness of colors) acrylic paint with a either a semi-gloss or matte varnish for durability.
Price should be based on how long you think it will take you and materials costs. Extrapolate times and paint quantities and other materials from any comparable work you have already done. Don't charge a price you think is really low; make sure you're comfortable with the price and it reflects the reality of what it costs you.
