Question Hello, My name is Jason and I have a question about the designs that are printed on my products for sale. I don't know if you are an expert in design evaluations but I'll take a risk here. It's simple, what advice are you willing to share about the production of my designs on my website Dicksonville.deco-printing.com? I seem to not attract buyers, I'm hesitant to believe it's the designs that are the cause. You re only my second person I've asked today, on the web. My site is fairly new and I'm hoping to bring great traffic to it in the near future.
Answer Hi Jason,
If i am reading your question correctly, you are asking 2 questions. One about the designs you are selling and the other is about your website and the amount of traffic it is bringing in to you.
If you were my client, here are some of the things that I would suggest to you:
Decide on your target market and put yourself in that person's shoes. What would they want to know about your products and how clear are you making it for them to know who you are and what you sell. When I come to the home page of your site, I am not really clear on what you are offering and why I need to purchase. As I have looked further into your site I do see that you have several items that are for sale. On the home page you have various shirt styles - but I don't really know how that benefits me - because when you sell to your target market it's all about the benefits for them and I am not sure what those are because all I see as a consumer is a cart - there is no copy for me to read.
As I have looked further - it sounds as though people can upload their designs. But I really had to look for this information. My feeling is that this information needs to be on the home page and very clear if this is what you are selling.
Remember one of the rules of marketing is: A confused customer does not buy.
Also the font that you have selected for the site varies throughout, there is not a consistency to make it easy to read. In particular I would change, if nothing else, the font for the name of your company and the various pages is very difficult for me to read in my browser which is IE so if I were doing a search I might not stop to read it because the font is pretty hard to distinguish.
As far as traffic - I would ask you what you have done to drive traffic to your site? Have you used google adwords, have you done any search engine optimization? How about joining Twitter or Facebook to get yourself & your company known. You also might want to add testimonials from customers - and photos of people wearing your designs - or sipping coffee out of the mugs while wearing one of the shirts. You should also be using keywords in your headlines and for search engines. There are many ways to get traffic to your site - but honestly without know what you have done it is challenging to answer.
Your products look good - and I would have a photo with someone wearing the shirts so it is not just a rendering of the design - people want to see the real thing even if it is just a photo.
I hope I have been helpful to you.
Best wishes to you,
Jane Button
