Question
Hello!

Do you know if there are any galleries in the US where an artist can exhibit their own works? If so, please specify place and/or name of galleries.

Thank

Answer
Dear Mike,

If you are interested in selling your artwork there are many galleries all over the USA where they will exhibit and sell your work. You should start with your local area or a geographic area where you think or know that your work should be exhibited. I am assuming that you do want to sell this work but since you use the word "exhibit" I am not certain.

Art galleries charge a commission for selling your work and will provide a contract for you to sign. You can accept their contract or negotiate any changes.

Other places you might contact for exhibiting your work would be outside of the gallery such as shops, restaurants, art fairs or other places where your work would be visible or on display. You would have small cards next to the work with your name and other information about the piece yourself as an artist.

I am not sure if this is what you were asking, and if you have any further information to clarify your question I would be happy to respond further.

Best regards,
