Question QUESTION: Could you help in figuring out how to attach logo's and slogans to wool or
fleece scarves without sowing them into the material.
ANSWER: Hello Petra,
In order to answer your question I need more information. Can you please explain what you mean by "logos and slogans" - are they patches? Just what are they made of? and where on the scarf do you want to attach them?
Send me as much information as you can and I will try to answer your question.

QUESTION: Jane, The logo is the symbol for the business and the slogan is just a saying
that pertains to what the buyer might want. For instance "I love my cadet" The
material used really isn't conducive to patches, I was thing more on the lines of
some sort of forced print onto the scarf. Just don't know how, what type of
machine or if paying another company is the best way to do this. Thank you
Answer Dear Petra,
Without knowing exactly what fabrication you are using I am going to assume that it can be either screen printed or embroidered.
My suggestion would be to find a local company who does embroidery or screen printing to assist you since it sounds as though you do not have the equipment or as yet the expertice.
I would do some research with local companies - show them a sample of what you want and how you want the design or logo to look. You will need to be VERY specific and be prepared to have everything written out specifically with drawings and placement on the scarf.
When working with a contractor it is very important to have everything in writing - and have them do a sample for your approval BEFORE you let them proceed with an order. I have seen too many people get back something that was not what they envisioned and it will cost you both time and money to have an order made up incorrectly.
Please also be prepared to pay a fee for a "set-up" charge, which should be a one time fee for setting up either your embroidery or screen print.
Later on, once you have gone through the process you may find you want to purchase your own equipment. But for now before you make that kind of investment, I would get as much information as you can from local businesses.
