For a very long time I have been passionate about doing creative activities. I love painting over terracotta pots or lamps. Decorate stuff, create something out of scrap items. I am wondering if I can take it as my fulltime career. Also I want to know what kind of professional training will help me here. I mean what kind of course should I take up, I am no way into arts background, i just love to do it.
Kindly guide me on my career, education and business prospects in future.

Although I am not an expert in the opportunities available for arts & crafts in India per se, there is a global market through the Internet and I would therefore tell you that I believe there is abundant opportunity for designers and artists creating and manufacturing creative products.
I personally think most creative people do not necessarily need more education in the way of learning their craft (except for technical information) but rather need assistance in creating a business model. In general I would say that the creativity comes from within yourself whereas the means for learning the "other part" of the business can be the most challenging. This would include issues such as:
Creating a sample line
Product Development
Pricing
Marketing
Sales
Distribution
Internet Business Model
Production Planning
Manufacturing
Shipping
Customer Service
