I am starting my own business and need to know how to purchase fabric

First you need to get a business license.  See more information on legal requirements for your business at

Then do an internet search for wholesale fabric suppliers, also search for the specific types of fabric you are looking for.

Contact the companies you find and ask them their policy for wholesale and bulk buying.  Most will require a copy of your business license, some will require proof of a physical brick and mortar store, etc.

Take notes on each company.  Write down their policy and then decide if you want to do business with them.
