any ideas!!?

Answer
Hey Sarah

Thanks for the question! Using recycled materials or saved items for craft ideas are wonderful and lots of fun for preschoolers.

I have a couple suggestions and ideas for different craft and games for them.

Around Easter they could be used in an Easter egg hunt.

For all year round games, you could incorporate them in to any circle or game time. For example, if you wanted to work on math skills, you could put any smaller object (dice) in to the eggs (different amount in each one, and have the child pick out an egg and count what is inside.

Another game idea would be a treasure hunt. You could hide the eggs and inside each egg is a picture of a different idem in your house and them the child would have to go to find that idem in order to get the next egg. On a nice day these can be used outside.

If you have a sandbox or park near by, the eggs are lots of fun to hide and find. You can also just use them to dig sand with. In the swimming pool, the can be little pool toys. Your child can try to get them all before you count to twenty or play similar games.

For crafts, decorating the eggs is probably on of the best things you could do with them. Everyday glue will work on them but it you want things to stick for a longer time, I suggest a glue gun. Your preschooler could glue it on with wet school glue then at a later time you could re-glue the pieces on. This way your child gets to have fun with glue and its safe, and their art work will last a lot longer.

I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel more than free to ask away.

Good luck and have fun playing!
