Arts/Crafts for Kids/recycle

QuestionHi, I'm in the 9th grade and I have to do a project for my science class. My teacher told us it's ok to do craft from recycled things, so, I've got plenty of plastic bottles and some card board. I checked in the Internet and all they had were decorations. I don't want any deco, I want to do something a bit scientific or something other than deco. Do you have any suggestions?
p.s.It can be other than bottles and card board, too.
AnswerI want to think about this...this is a VERY interesting question, and perhaps one of the MOST interesting I've ever had on AllExperts!!!! I wonder if you could make some kind of thing where colored water flows from one bottle to another, kind of like those tubes where marbles go round and round, but with water and plastic bottles? The water could go off in different directions before coming back into one central part to end. HHHmmmm?
I saw a chandelier made from plastic bottles glued with hot glue gun, and also with staples. It was huge!!! Lights were included...twinkle lights through holes cut into bottles. So that's another idea.
I don't know too much about science, so I'm thinking more "art" (not craft). Just something artsy that you construct.
