Arts/Crafts for Kids - Bottles

Expert: MaryAnn F. Kohl - 10/12/2007

Question
Hi, i need more ideas for the use of plastic soda bottles. I did the oil and water making a lava lamp, do you have any other suggestions?

Answer
I just got in from a grueling business trip, so my mind isn't functioning well.

I'll try to t hink...

Hmm, I like when kids mix food coloring and shake and swirl things into the colored water. Glitter, bits of torn plastic, whatever.

Messages in bottles are fun. Make a message, roll it up (cut paper to exact height of bottle), and slip in it. Decorate bottle.

That's it for now!

MaryAnn
