Question
I am coordinator of a religous program of 98 adults who have development disabilities. I have colored plastic spoons and forks.  I have springer clothes pins, I have egg cartons.  I have the little ice cream spoons that come with small cups of ice cream.  All these have been given to me.  I would like to be able to use them.  My clients are all abilities.  Thank you, Shirley

Answer
Hi Shirley,

The little sppoons you could make into people ...like draw faces w/perment marker ...use yarn for hair or tinsel or anything pretty much and pieces of fabric for clothes or cut out pictures from magazines to glue to the spoon or you coud do something as simple as draw shapes and use them to make clothes.  YOu could make them characters from a bible story and have them help you perform the different people ( for ex one could be jesus one mary one joseph...etc and do the birth of Christ) Not sure about the egg cartons, you could make caterpillers or use them for finger painting projects, helps contain the paint. THe clothes pins can make butterflys with coffee filters. You water color the coffee filter and put the clothespin in the middle of the filter ...add eyes and antannas bingo.

HOpe this helps,
