Hi Andy, this is my first time going to Aruba and wanted to see what part is the best to go to? It will just be me and my boyfriend traveling for about a week. Also, if you could name a couple of hotels and the best time of year to travel that would be great!

Hi Sheny!!  I always go at the end of August, but anywhere July thru September is nice. Island is quiet, not too many kids running around, hotel rates are a bit lower, and no crowds at resturants. Weather is good and hardly any rain. For hotels, you don't need upscale ones, but for a good price, and services I would first try Aruba Beach Club (www.arubabeachclub.net) Check the property pics, rates, and you can book directly with them. I own a timeshare there and it's a clean, well maintained property right on the beach.A;so. check Manchebo Beach Resort (next door). They are operated by Best Western.If you need any more facilities, re-contact me, but Ithink these 2 are the best, both being on the best/widest beach in Aruba. "Tip"...do not go into an all exclusive plan unless you are heavy drinkers! There are plenty of places to eat on the island, and the all inclusive packages add tons of $$$ to the trip. Most packages can add up to $100.00 per day just for food. Anything else I can help you with, do not hesitate to contact me again!!
