Hi Andy, we (27yr old couple) are planning on travelling to Aruba early next year, anytime from Jan-April (from England).
Suppose quite big drinkers, want good weather and a good standard of hotel.

What are your thoughts on exactly when to go, the weather, and which hotel.

Hi Richard! The "big drinkers" made the decision quite fast for me!
I would look into the Divi Aruba Resort, as it is an all-inclusive, beach front property. Also, connected to themis the Tamarijn Resort, which shares the resturants and bars.
It would become very expensive if you had to purchase the beverages without an all inclusive package, so this would be the best deal for you.
The time of year you chose to go is considered High Season, so I would make all my planning now, and weather wise, March to April gets a bit windy. (the blowing sand hitting you can be a factor).
