Question
Hello - I am a nurse in the States and was curious if they hire international nurses for their hospitals and clinics, especially during the high season when there are more tourists. I would love to work/live there, even if just for a few months. Any contact information would be helpful. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Meghan..The first thing that will be an obstacle is...do you speak Dutch and/or papiamento? You must be very clear on the language, even thogh english  is widely spoken, this would be one requirement.
You would also have to obtain a permit, secure living quarters, and apply to DINA ( Dept. of immigration) to secure your residency permit.Go to this link for information on Oduber Hospital. http://www.visitaruba.com/facts/community/health.html
