Question
hi, i and my husband will go to aruba for 2 weeks in september from 7th to 20th at the Caribbean Palm Village, do you know how is the resort? have you some suggestion about our holiday, for exemple is better to rent a car or where we can have good lunch or dinner and everything you suggest us.
Thanks so much Debora

Answer
Hi Deborah...I have not heard anything negative regarding Palm Village, but its location will warrant a rental car if you plan on dining, casino hopping or site-seeing around the island.
To dine...It's all a matter of choice. There are so many resturants on the island, and it seems all are favored by the reviews I get!
Most popular is Madam Janettes, El Gaucho, and L.G Smith Steakhouse (downtown at the Renaissance Mall). You will come across many brochures, ads and handouts when you get to the island, and you can make your choice!. If you like seafood, the Waterfront Crabhouse at Renaissance Village (also downtown) is a must to visit!
Lunch..gotta try Iquana Joes at the Royal Plaza Mall. You have to drive thru the downtown area from the airport to the hotel, so keep your eyes focused, to get familiar with the area, and whats is there!
I will miss you by a few days, and..don't worry about the weather!!!
