Question
We are staying at the Marriott Aruba Surf Club.  We will need provisions for the week... food...beverages... should we rent a car, take a bus, take a taxi....  Will we need a taxi to sight see...??? Our 8yr old son, will be with us... any suggestions for family activities?  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Lorrie! The Surf Club is close to a lot of places to eat. For food, I would just take a cab (they are always right there at the hotels) and just tell the driver to stop back for the return trip when you think shopping will be done. Taxi drivers know all the supermarkets and places to go!
Sight seeing...you will find brochures at the hotel..I would suggest doing the island tour if you are a first time visitor. They usually last about 3 to 4 hours, some with lunch, depending on the operator.
Fot the 8 year old, you have the butterfly, ostrich and donkey sanctuaries. Mini golf down the road a bit.
Hotel will also help you arange and give you information if you require, but you will find a lot of info in the brochures and daily & evening newspapers, free of charge and usually in the hotel lobby.
