Aruba - bus service from airport

Expert: Andy Mendyk - 10/20/2009

Question
I have read on the airport web site that public bus service is available right outside the airport.  We have always took a taxi from airport, but traveled around the island using the bus system. Is there a bus from the airport to eagle beach.  How far out of the airport is the stop or is it across the street?

Answer
Hi Carol...the bus stop is not really "at" the airport. You would have to walk across the parking lot to the road and pick up the bus at that point. Depending how much luggage you will be hauling, it can be quite an effort. Might be better off getting transportation vouchers for DePalm.
If you like, go to www.arubus.com  for their schedules.
