Question
We are heading to Aruba on Monday and my husband was just in the hospital- and having some tests done. THey will not be in until monday. If he does in fact need a prescription- can he get it filled in Aruba if we have the prescription faxed from the Dr in the states? I assume not, just wanted to check!
Thanks!

Answer
Hi Christine! Prescriptions can be filled ONLY if they are written by an Doctor or hospital in Aruba.
The only 2 choices are take extra meds for the time you wil be there, or bring the prescription to a doctor (make a regular appointment!) and have him write one up. There is usually no problem as long as the need is legitimate, since they deal with situations like this all the time. Have fun!! Wish I was there now!!
