QuestionQUESTION: I am going to Aruba from 9/27-10/3. Is there anything that I need to know about this time of year. This is my first trip to aruba so any and all advice would be welcomed. I am going there for my honeymoon. I was give a timeshare there. Thanks.
ANSWER: Hi Jennie! Aruba at the time you are going is fairly quiet. I go the last 2 weeks of August , and I chose these weeks because it is, their low season.
You will find weather in the mid to upper 80's, mid 70's at night.
Ocean temps are quite warm also if you plan on being in it!
Restaurant lines are non-existant if you will be dining out.
Windy, but not overly so. It really is a great time to be there..have a great trip!!!

QUESTION: Ok Thank you for this advice. Now how does it work w/ money in Aruba. What should I bring? What are somethings that they have down there for things to do? I know you need a passport to go is this the only thing you need?
AnswerHi Jennie..yes, passport and round trip transportation is reqiured. When you land, you will go to Aruban Immigration and give them your passport and card, which you fill out on the plane (bring a pen!)
Line goes quick, so no hassle there. Pick up luggage, walk outside. Taxis are right there if you need one.
American dollars are accepted everywhere. The aruban curency is the Florin. When shopping or dining, most places are priced in Florins, which may seem high. Right now its about AFL 1.80 to one American dollar. So, no currency exchange is needed.
There are Supermarkets in the area if you plan on doing any food shopping. Your trip should be hassle free!!!
