Aruba/Travel to Aruba with 2 yr old

Question
Greetings! I am planning a family vacation to Aruba and wondered what resorts would be entertaining for a 2yr old and great for adults to unwind?  We would love to find reliable babysitting or a childcare club so that we can have a little adult time.
Hoping to travel this spring (2010) ... is this a good time to travel there?
Appreciates your assistance!

Answer
Hi Karla! There is not much there for a 2 year  old to do, but first, for relaxation, stay away from the "High Rise " hotel section. Too many "party people" there!
I would recommend going to Arubabeachclub.net  (in the low-rise section). It is more adult friendly, quiet, plenty of beach and they do have a kids center there that has activities daily.
April is kind of windy. I go there in August (less crowded), but if I had to make a springtime choice, it would be in May.
Babysitting service is available by contacting the desk, and it is with an outside, reliable person if toy desire to go out at night.
Aruba Beach Club is a timeshare resort, but do have rentals either by the club, or its owners. Clean and safe and most of all a quiet area with resturants on premises. Alhambra casino is across the street if you desire a casino. Room rentals there are a lot less expensive than most hotels on the island.
Large pool for adults, and a kiddies pool right next to it. Kitchenettes with all utensils if you want to prefare dinners in the room also. I think you will like it once you go to their site and view pictures and what they have to offer.
If I can help you with anything else, do not hesitate to contact me!
