Question
Dear Sir, My wife and i are considering very strongly in retireing to Aruba, could you please tell me what legal formalities are needed to gain the relevant visas  eligibility factors etc, and if there are any medical restrictions that could effect the application process thank you for your service in advance p.n.wild

Answer
Hi Peter! I have been asked this question dozens of times. It is not easy to live in Aruba permanently if you are not a citizen/Dutch national.
You must own a home, furnish proof of financial income/stability. Provide proof of medical insurance. Also provide documentation of medical (no diseases) and a criminal background check from your home country.
There is a lot more, and it changes quite often. It is best that you contact DINA, (Dept. of immigration/naturalization Aruba) for any latest changes.
Wishing you the best!!
