Hi Cheryl!  There is really no place to "rent" snorkel equipment, but..There are quite a few tour operators that have low priced snorkel packages. Usually around a 3 to 4 hour span. Red Sail Sports, DePalm tours, Jolly Pirates are just a few.
All hotels have a kiosk or information desk in the lobby with all the operators and packages they offer. Reservations can be made at that time. Some will even pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
Find a package that fits your needs and go for it!
