Hello Again and thank you for the quick response to my last question. Another few questions for you. We were looking at reviews and one suggested for an island tour to hail a taxi( they had a very friendly driver who took them all over the island to show them the sights . What would be a resonable price to pay.  As well do you have any information on the other islands we will be visiting.

Hi Monica...The above link will show taxi rates as of 9/1/09. If I am not mistaken, last rates for taxis "for hire" were $40.00 per hour.  For standard rates to places you may want to visit, go to the column for "downtown/Oranjestad"
Rates are set by the government, so there is no variation of the rates no matter which taxi supplies the service.
I can not give you any info on your other stops, as my knowledge of them is limited, but I do know that the walk around Charlotte Amalie harbor area has plenty of shopping, and a few very good places to eat! (St. Thomas)
